Business Development Manager

Responsibilities

  • Provide innovative business solutions to companies via practiced and skilled negotiation and the ability to understand the critical staffing issues within a broad range of businesses.
  • Work closely with the National Sales Manager to ensure that there is a consistent approach in the development of (an) account(s) across the territory
  • Assist in account development from a local level to a regional/national level
  • Focus on bringing in new business for the team as well as recognizing & balancing the business mix.
  • Meet Target Objectives - meet or exceed minimum performance expectations in sales for both temporary and permanent divisions and ensure increased profitability to the Branch. 
  • Meet Performance Standards (as set by Manager) - achieve combined and existing new business revenue.

Requirements

  • Diploma/ Degree in any disciplines
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a Business Development role
  • Proven track record in sales and business development
  • Consultative/influence/facilitation/ counseling/mentoring skills
  • Possess good business acumen
  • Persuasive negotiation skills and presentation skills
  • Good leadership quality to motivate a team
